My paper is going to be about the Dream Act. My paper will consist of what the dream act is, what are the requirements for students to apply to the dream act and what does the congress and political leaders have say about the dream act. I decided to write about the dream act becuase it caught my attention when it was on the news and it bothered me that students of immigrant families are on the verge of being deported. Many of these students are the first to graduate among their families and to attend College or a University.
I have already made up my mind that I want to write about the dream act but I have to have a thesis. I need suggestions on how to narrow my paper and focus. I need your help classmates what do you think my thesis could be?
Thesis: The dream act shoud be passed becuase it will provide immigrant students with the chance to stay in the United States and they are high performing students in schools with the goal to attend a college or a university.
